Brentwood Youth ABC

Brentwood Boxing club was founded in 2004 in nearby Hutton but has recently moved to the centre of Brentwood (at 1 Fairfield Rd, just 100 yards from the station).

The club is managed by a parent governing body with day-to-day running and gym sessions being organized by head coaches Alan Bush and Joe Taylor, with four assistant coaches.

Since 2008 when Alan and Joe started working together, the club has gone from strength-to-strength winning numerous local tittles, 12 regional, 2 nationals and 1 tri-nations champion. As of 2010, the club can also boast that five of its boxers are ranked in the top 10 of England.

The club has over 60 members of which 32 are competitive boxers made up of boys and girls of all ages. Gym opening times are Monday to Friday 6.00-8.30pm with squad training on Sunday mornings 10.00-12.30pm

Monday: 6:00-7:00 Juniors 7:00-8:00 Seniors
Tuesdays: 7:00-8:00 Beginners and Fitness Class
Wednesday: 6:00-7:00 Juniors 7:00-8:00 Seniors
Thursday: 7:00-8:00 Beginners and Fitness Class
Friday: 6:00-7:00 Juniors 7:00-8:00 Seniors
Sunday: 10:00-12:00 All Welcome.
