Brentwood Rugby Football Club
Rugby is the ultimate sport for team building, an energetic game that can build confidence, character and a mutual respect for team mates and opposition alike. Brentwood welcomes players of all abilities and ages.
Junior and Mini Teams
The club runs a highly successful mini rugby section catering for both boys and girls from under 5 to under 12. The junior section fields sides from under 13 up to the under 19 Colts side. All coaches are CRB checked and are monitored by the club's Child Protection Officer. The mini and youth policy is to encourage any player of any ability to get involved and have fun playing rugby and the club strives to offer equal opportunities and not to be elitist; however there are opportunities for gifted players to progress through the Essex County structure.
Senior Men’s Rugby
Fielding four senior men’s sides the club is always keen to welcome new players at any standard. The first and second fifteen sides play rugby at a very competitive standard, whilst the thirds and veterans play at a slightly more relaxed pace but still with a will to win. From time to time BRFC also field the notorious “Famous Fives” invitational touring side. Feel free to come along and join in training with the seniors on any Tuesday or Thursday night, ask for George and he will make you feel welcome.
Brentwood Ladies XV
BRFC is keen to establish both senior and junior ladies sides so if you are interested or even slightly curious please get in touch, if nothing else the club can promise it will be more exciting than Pilates.
If you are tempted to get involved at any level please send an email or give BRFC a call:
